NARCOTICS, CONTRABAND DETECTION - BOWIE CO. SHERIFF DEPT. Brenna is one of our best, active working dogs who works soley with the Sheriff Dept. in Bowie County. Inmates, suspects do not like to see this lady show up in their areas. Word goes out quickly that "the bitch is back." She has an excellent reputation at making numerous finds.
She is also one of the finest dogs that Billy Smith has ever worked and trained with. Billy is one of the founders of NNDDA ...one of the top certification organizations to certify working police dogs in the country. To say the least, he knows dogs well.
Her handler has also worked with some of the best. Brenna is one of them. We hope to have a litter of puppies in the near future. She is out of some of our best foundation lines. Dam: Olivia vom Kirschental

Olivia is one of our best foundation breeders. She comes from the very best West German sheep herding and East German working lines. She is the product of a very, well thought out breeding of Karl Fuller's kennel. Rarely does he breed his sheep herding dogs to solid working lines.
We've had the privilege of owning three of these crosses over the course of time! Olivia is one of them. Her mother, Jassie vom Kirschental was one of the best brood bitches to come out of the famous Kirshental Sheep Herding Kennel. Her father, Glenn von der Hühnergasse">Glenn von der Hühnergasse an outstanding working dog is one of the best offspring of Manto, his sire Manto vom Kahlenbach in turn was one of the best Lord vom Gleisdreieck's sons.. if not the best.
Rarely does one see a mixture of Sheep herding and strong working lines combined from this kennel, much less around the world. These crosses have proved to be paramount in our goals for producing good, solid working dogs with excellent temperaments and health. These sheep herding lines bring an incredible degree of intelligence, reasoning ability, and focus into our lines. Unless one has spent time with these sheep herding dogs, they have no understanding of how true this statement is... even from seasoned dogs enthusiasts.
She continues to live at home with our family. Still in excellent health and vitality, She has proven herself worthy and honorable as both a brood bitch and companion.

Our Working Canines and our Breeding Program.
All of our dogs are family companions. None are ever housed in outdoor kennels as their permanent home. This is one of the basic tenants of our belief, which sets us apart from most dog breeders.
Dogs are pack animals and require interaction with people and other dogs. German Shepherds are particularly endowed as being a working partner & companion to humans. An honorable, intelligent breed, worthy of our respect, kindness & gratitude.
